Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14)
Our nursery ministry is very dear to us. It is a joy for us to minister to our smallest members and guests, and share the love, joy, and peace of God with them! While we pray for God's peace to help maintain a quiet calm in the nursery, sometimes babies cry. Sometimes they just want to be held. Sometimes, they want to sleep. Sometimes, they don't know what they want and even if they did, they usually can't tell you. Babies and toddlers need attention, and that's okay. Our goal is to provide a safe haven of peace and joy for these little ones. For parents, especially new parents not yet accustomed to leaving their child with someone, even just a room away, please be at peace. It is our goal to provide a clean, secure, and nurturing environment for your child while he or she is with us.
Nursery is available during Sunday morning worship and Sunday School for children newborn through three years old. Care of children four years old or older (as of 1 September of each year) is provided by the children's ministry associated with that age's educational program through the Sunday School hour.
Two workers provide nursery services just outside the sanctuary, where children play, snack, and listen to music. Background checks for those that work with children are accomplished through Protect My Ministry.
Please contact the church secretary if you have any questions, concerns, or unusual needs.
